Easter is a Springtime celebration of new life and renewal.  We see new life everywhere.  Firstly, there are buds on the trees and shoots in the garden.  We also see baby animals all around us.  We can’t forget the children in our community when we watch them express their excitement for Easter egg hunts.

Many of us would like some renewal ourselves.  We would like to find some relief from our discomfort in our Easter egg.  Instead, we hear that aches and pains are a normal part of getting older.  We are also told to expect stiffness and loss of flexibility.  We wonder if discomfort is inevitable.  But is discomfort really “normal”?  Do we have to “learn to live with it”?

The truth is that our bodies renew themselves all the time.  Many types of cells get replaced over our lifetimes.  Our body replaces skin cells every few weeks.  Bone cells can take over ten years for new bone cells to replace them.  Our body possesses an innate capacity to heal itself.

Chiropractic care helps the body to heal itself

Chiropractic care can assist in that healing.  It maintains the health of the spinal column so that signals can reach every part of the body unimpeded and uninterrupted.   Chiropractic care can treat musculo-skeletal aches and pains.  It can also improve flexibility and range of motion.

Regular chiropractic care will help to safeguard your independence.  It will assist you in living an active lifestyle.

In conclusion, you do not have to learn to live with pain.

If you’ve never seen a chiropractor before, Sheppard Chiropractic Centre is welcoming new patients.  Or, if you haven’t been to see us in some time, we would be happy to schedule an appointment for maintenance care.  Contact us at (506) 635-8182 or (506) 847-7172.

Have a very happy Easter!
